Meditation & Yoga Nidra for Pregnancy, Childbirth and Mamahood Pregnancy, though wonderful and miraculous, can also be a time of stress and worry. Throughout this class we will practice and discuss different meditation techniques that can be used throughout pregnancy, childbirth and mamahood.
We will release fears, rest, relax and rejuvenate as we work through various meditation styles, mantra and yoga nidra to release fear and tension while increasing relaxation and confidence; connecting you more deeply to yourself and your baby. Class will end with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra meditation. Everyone will receive an audio copy of this meditation. Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing practice that is a combination of alert awareness and deep relaxation, it balances the nervous system and allows the body to restore and heal. It is a great way for a mom to come into total awareness and lead herself to a place where she feels empowered.
Our goal is cultivate a sense of ease and peace for mom and baby. Creating a safe space for moms to connect with themselves, their babies, their body and their breath. This workshop is for everyone, no matter your plans for birth.
