200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Next session begins August 24th
If you are looking to deepen your practice or become a yoga teacher that understands and can teach to different bodies, this is the training for you. If you are curious, compassionate and prone to caretaking, you will love this program. Whether taking this training to lead an asana (posture) based class or to deepen your understanding of your yoga practice this training is for you.
We wanted to create training that embraces and instills new teachers with the Unfold culture of ease and grace but also reverberates out to our modern society. Yoga is growing and changing, and people need teachers like you to show up and teach them.
You will learn…
The history behind Yoga, and how it made it to the West
The Eight Limbs and how they translate into modern life
Breathing patterns that will advance your techniques
Traditional Poses and Pranayama
Advanced body mechanics and functional anatomy – how the body works beyond the shape you see
How to teach to different populations
Your authentic voice and cultivate your communication skills
How to be a teacher, a lot of practice being in the front of the room
Different styles of Yoga and Meditation
